As expected, the Japanese trains are very orderly and clean. Plus, people don't really talk on the trains. There was one Japanese man who was very upset with us because we were chatting away on the train! I found that really odd but I guess it makes sense in a "community first, self second" principled world.
Shhh....
The Daibutsu (Large Buddha).
We came across some strange-looking souvenirs...
Biggg shoes.
We also wandered around the nearby temples; this particular one had lovely surroundings! Colourful trees, well-trimmed hedges and the old-fashioned architechture gave a zen-like aura to the temple.
Loved the pretty autumn colours that the trees were wearing.
Wasn't sure if that was a large version of a bonsai tree?
Sooooooo peaceful...
The unbearably cute stone figurines.
Along the way, we had Dango, rice balls on a stick which my dear Fiance finished so fast I didn't even have time to whip out my camera. We also had matcha ice-cream...yumm....reportedly so good that even Barack Obama stopped by for a taste during his last visit.
Mr. Right demonstrating the Wrong way to eat matcha ice-cream.
We then headed back to Yokohama to have lunch with A. The place he took us to had a great view of the Wheel (it seems every major city would always have one).
In need of pet clothing? Fear not! Why not dress your dog up as a cute squirrel or rabbit?
Rabbit ear-muffs. Hahahha...
On the way back, we did do a walkabout tour of Yokohama, which included some really nice views of the Wheel and the Landmark Tower at night.
Mmm...makes me hungry just thinking about ramen!

Just in case you're wondering who Naruto is...
As we got back quite early, all three of us watched a couple of episodes of a new anime (recommended by A) called High School of the Dead, featuring out-of-this world proportioned high-school girls (as expected of any anime) and zombies overtaking an entire Japanese high school! Talk about a gory end to the day. There were moments (when knickers were showing and body parts a-bouncing) where I cringed. But the zombie action was riveting.

Saeko, my favourite character as she is the least bimbotic and knows how to handle a long stick. No really, jokes aside, she kicked zombie-butt!!!

I wanted to watch Naruto but nooooo...the guys wanted H.O.T.D. instead. Well, at least the death of zombies kept me entertained at the end of our second day in Japan.
