...the day before the wedding. My mum unwrapped the tea set for the Chinese Tea Ceremony and we discovered that there were a defect - the holder would not fit into the teapot. In a mad rush, my sister and I drove to SS2, trying to get to the shop before it closed, to exchange the teapot. Fortunately, it was just before rush hour (but that meant we were caught in bad traffic on the way back) and we made it in time. Phew!! Crisis averted...
Here are some photos of the tea set we got in the end. No polka dots! But nice all the same. It felt quite nice serving tea to my elders...
